Tempus fugit

Wow, I heard so many complains about not updating my blog….sorry people!! But I was kind of busy the last couple of weeks/months. Let’s start at the beginning: I finished my diploma thesis and sent it for print on September 14th!!!! Yeah!!! I had it print in Germany since the University of Konstanz wants it as regular DIN A4 paper - actually printing wouldn’t be the problem in the US but they would cut the paper of the bound version to the height of US letter paper….so in the end it wouldn’t be anything but A4 paper anymore. So I decided not to mess with that and let my dad take care of it in Aalen. So it finally left my hands that day, my dad picked it up a few days later, made it ready to go to KN, and Marc’s parents sent it off on October 1st.
So that was it….now it’s officially over. Or at least it’s almost over. I’m still waiting for my diploma certificate but that’s just a matter of time. Both of my supervisors had to write a reference letter, my German supervisor has turned it in already and I guess Kelly’s is on it’s way.
So that’s the end of 5 awesome years: 4 awesome years in Konstanz, with great friends, lots of fun, lots of studying, an internship in Heidelberg and in the end one awesome year in Salt Lake City. There’s so much more to say about these five years but I can’t find the right words to tell you how much that time means to me. Just believe me: it does mean a lot!!
There are so many people I want to thank: I wouldn’t have achieved any of this without the support of my family and friends. Of course my parents, my grandma and Marc have the top priority here but there are also people like Ingo, Theresia, and Lisa who have followed every step I’ve made the last 25 years! Thank you for being there for me and supporting whatever I was up to!!!!
Hey Love,
CONGRATS!!!!!!! I’m so proud of you and how everything turned out within those 5 years.
I’m happy and thankful to have you in my life and knowing, that I can always count on you, wherever the two of us are. You have no idea, how much the past 5 years mean… finding those right words - mission:impossible!
Thank you! And thank whatever or whomever, that gave you the thought to invite me to your 20th birthday party - it changed my life fundamentally and I am soooo thankful - for that and for you!!!
*hug* K.
